Gillanders Staff
Most of Gillanders' staff are long term, permanent employees who have developed their skills through extensive on-going training.
Superintendents and project managers work together as a strong team offering clients exceptional service. In the industry, the staff enjoys a reputation for being both demanding and fair. As a result, there is a mutual respect with the sub-trades, which in turn provides clients with lower costs and outstanding construction services.
Gillanders' superintendents generally have at least 10 years experience in the carpentry trade with a wide knowledge of all trades and certified supervisory experience. Superintendents work on site with owners, designers and engineers. They co-ordinate the trades, resolve day to day site problems, maintain construction schedules, keep a clean construction site and provide on going site control.
Project managers on the other hand, have special training in architectural technology. They are responsible for every aspect of a construction project from assembling the construction team to coordinating all procedures including administration, accounting, purchasing, approvals, reports and their distribution. Project managers develop and continually update budgets, control costs and maintain project schedules.
“…I have always found Gillanders Construction Inc. to be consummate professionals with exceptional strength in their ability to organize and manage all aspects of both large and small projects within occupied spaces…”
